Author's Notes
--------------
I started this map some time in December of 2002, about the time I bought UT2003. At first
I wanted to keep the map as close to the UT2003 version as I could, but I found that
this was incredibly hard and tedious to do, so I decided to estimate and play it by ear.
I did this after I made the skeleton of the map, so that part is VERY close to the UT2003 version.
Since getting all of the detail into UT is impossible, I had to improvise a lot, but this map is still
easily recognizable as Orbital2. In other words, if you know your way around the UT2003 version,
you know your way around the UT version. The biggest difference is the flak room's upper area,
which is now accessible and holds a nuke along with a little mural to my idol ^_^.

This map will probably put a load on your system. Node counts usually hover around 400,
often go over 500, and in some spots makes it to 600-700. This is high, but believe it or not
it could be higher if I hadn't put a lot of effort into reducing node counts. Despite the complexity
of the map, there's only a 1.62:1 ratio of nodes to polys.

I don't know exactly how much time I put into making this map, but I know it was a lot. However
many hours it took, they were lightly sprinkled over 8 months (I could never sit down and work on
the map for more than a few hours in a week). This isn't a simple map; there's about 1750 brushes
and almost 900 lights! Even though about 800 brushes and 400 lights are just copied, it was still a
lot of work. At least 3 or 4 hours were spent just "rebuilding light and level"; the finished version takes
~15 minutes to rebuild on my 1.7ghz system.

Thanks to
---------
Howard Stern, my idol! Oh yeah, Dave Ewing for making such a great map.
